Namesake and About This Blog

You Simpsons fans may remember this one. Millhouse (aka "Thrillhouse") acquires the latest and greatest in video gaming technology. Blissfully unaware, he encounters an inherent limitation in the game due to the TV screen's size, before even beginning to actually play the game. However, similar to every modern Apple fanatic, he continues on blinded by the bright flashy lights.

I'm here to offer you a new perspective on these shortcomings. Don't be fooled by the bright flashy lights. There's almost always a way around the issue, so long as you're willing to work around it. This isn't just limited to the video games of the 90's, or the iOS operating system (the backbone of iPhones and iPads). This can even go as advanced as getting around pesky limitations in software development, such as Microsoft SQL Server. It can also be as simple as changing the awful default sounds in Windows 7.

My intention of this blog is to give you little bits (no pun intended) of information that you can apply to your esoteric situation and setup, because hopefully yours is the same as mine. Sometimes it takes piecing information from several blogs and forums together to solve your problem. I hope to fill the gaps for at least some of you by offering clean, simple (hopefully), step-by-step, effective solutions to these problems. Sometimes these little fixes only save a little bit of time (again, no pun intended), but when you add it all up, it can make a huge difference (perhaps... Megabits? Gigabits? Gigabytes?? Pun intended, obviously).

If you're still interested, please continue to read. Also, if you have a particular technology issue you need help with, and are having trouble figuring it out, or need a push in the right direction, let me know in the comments below. Perhaps I can help you, and make a post to help out others in the future!

Thanks for listening.
